Exchanges and Returns

We want you to love your purchase. This policy explains when and how returns, exchanges, and refunds work. It’s designed to comply with consumer law and reduce abusive chargebacks.

1) Quick Summary
Change-of-mind or wrong size: accepted within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused, unwashed, with original tags and packaging. Customer pays return shipping and any reshipping for exchanges.
Defective, damaged, or incorrect item: we cover reasonable return shipping and provide repair, replacement or refund.
Non-returnable (unless defective): personalized items, opened hygiene items, gift cards.
RMA required: email hello@hombreso.com before sending anything back. Unauthorized returns may be refused.

2) Region-specific rights
European Union (EU): 14-day right of withdrawal. Refund includes product price plus standard outbound shipping. Return shipping is at customer’s cost. Refund may be withheld until goods or proof of return is received. Deduction may apply for diminished value if used beyond inspection.
United States: No federal right to change-of-mind returns. We voluntarily accept returns within 14 days. Outbound shipping is non-refundable unless we are at fault. The FTC “30-Day Rule” applies to shipping timelines.
Australia and New Zealand: Change-of-mind returns are not required by law, but we accept them within 14 days as goodwill. Customer pays return shipping. Consumer guarantees still apply for faulty goods.

3) Wrong Size or Exchanges
Request must be made within 14 days of delivery. Item must be in new condition.
Customer pays the return and reshipping costs unless required otherwise by law.
If the requested size or color is unavailable, you may choose a refund or store credit.
Price differences at the time of exchange may apply.

4) Condition and Inspection
We may deny or adjust refunds for signs of wear, washing, odors, missing tags, or missing accessories. In the EU, any deduction reflects diminished value, not a penalty.

5) How to Return
Step 1: Email hello@hombreso.com with order number, reason, and photos if damaged or defective.
Step 2: Receive your RMA and instructions.
Step 3: Ship with tracking and keep proof of postage.
Step 4: Refund is issued after verification or upon proof of shipment in the EU.

6) Refund Timing
Refunds are processed promptly. Banks may take 3 to 10 business days to post them.
In the EU, refunds are made within 14 days of notice of withdrawal, but may be withheld until goods or proof of shipment are received.

7) Return-to-Sender (RTO) and Refused Deliveries
If a parcel returns due to wrong address, uncollected pickup, or refusal, we can reship with new postage paid by you or refund the product price less outbound shipping. EU withdrawal rights still apply if invoked.

8) Fraud and Abuse
We dispute chargebacks with evidence if filed outside this policy, including order data, payment security checks, tracking, delivery proof, and communications.
